Lamerdingen (dpa / lby) - In Swabia, a young man wanted to test his unapproved motorcycle and suffered life-threatening injuries.
The 23-year-old drove without a helmet and, according to witnesses, at increased speed through a village in the municipality of Lamerdingen (Ostallgäu district), the police said on Friday night.
The rear wheel blocked when braking.
As a result, the man fell Thursday night and sustained serious head injuries.
He had to be resuscitated until the ambulance service arrived and was then flown to a hospital.
Because the motorcycle has not been approved since 2017, the man is now to be investigated.
