April 29, 2021 The Minister of Economy presented the Recovery and Resilience Plan to the Council of Ministers this morning, for a final examination before presentation to the European Commission. This is confirmed by the agenda of the CDM that was sent to the ministers. The Cinsiglio started around 12.30, about an hour later than the call. On the agenda also the extension decree and the one for the establishment of the complementary fund to the NRP for investments that cannot be included in the plan.
The Cdm also includes a decree law on legislative terms, intended to extend measures such as smart working and golden power. Finally, on the agenda appears the examination of regional and various and possible laws.
EU presidency, first plans approved at Ecofin on 18 June
The Portuguese presidency will schedule the approval of the first "Recovery" plans at Ecofin on 18 June. We are also ready to call an extraordinary Ecofin in the last week of June to approve the second wave of plans. We cannot waste any more time, we must relaunch the recovery ": Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa, who holds the rotating presidency of the EU, announces it on Twitter, congratulating France, Germany and Greece for sending the plans. Portugal was the first to present it.
