Lübeck (dpa / lno) - A 40-year-old man with Down syndrome was attacked and robbed at a gas station in Lübeck.

A 17- and 19-year-old man had harassed, shaken and snatched the wallet from their victim, police and prosecutors said on Thursday.

The two attackers were caught after a short escape.

An arrest warrant was issued against the younger suspect on urgent suspicion of extortion by robbery.

According to the public prosecutor's office, further proceedings with similar allegations are pending against him.

The other man was reportedly released because there were no grounds for detention.

The victim was not injured in the incident on Tuesday.
