CSTO countries will develop measures to prevent bio-threats

During the meeting, they paid special attention to "coordinating the activities of the CSTO member states in order to create a reliable system for ensuring biological safety."

"The parties agreed to develop joint practical measures to prevent threats to national, regional and international security associated with the impact of dangerous biological factors," RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier it was reported that Russia offered the countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to create a joint council to counter biological threats.
