Compensation and donation of "Taroko" accident. Each victim can receive 30.7 million NT
China’s Taiwan Network, April 29, reported that 49 people were killed in the Taiwan Railway Taroko accident. According to Taiwan’s official news agency, Taiwan Railways said it referred to the subrogation of the previous Puyuma accident’s compensation, and Taiwan’s health and welfare authorities raised funds. For the donation, each victim can receive more than NT$30 million from his family.
In early May, Taiwan Railways will negotiate compensation with the families of the victims of the Taroko accident, and set a target of NT$15.7 million, including the 100,000 yuan of condolences paid, 2.5 million yuan of compensation, and 2.8 million that are being signed Yuan relief grant.
Another Taiwan health and welfare authority raised more than NT$1 billion in donations for the "Taroko" accident, of which NT$15 million for each victim, that is, compensation plus donations, and each victim can be collected by his family. At least 30.7 million New Taiwan dollars.
