April 29, 2021 China launched the first "Tianhe-1" module for the assembly of the new "Tiangong-3" space station, an orbiting laboratory with a habitable 110 cubic meters. This was announced by Chinese state TV.


This is the first of the three elements of its space station, an ambitious project for Beijing that will have to allow the country to have astronauts in space permanently. The Tianhe module, "Celestial Harmony", was carried by the carrier after launch from the center of Wenchang on the tropical island of Hainan according to live images broadcast by the public television CCTV.
