Brünzow (dpa / mv) - In a head-on collision with a truck, a driver in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district was killed on Thursday.
As the police announced, the truck had come towards Brünzow.
The 69-year-old driver from Greifswald died at the scene of the accident, the 55-year-old truck driver was seriously injured.
As a result of the impact, the truck and trailer, which had loaded a total of 27,000 liters of rapeseed oil, overturned.
The damage was estimated at 155,000 euros.
The recovery continued in the evening, which is why the road was still completely closed.
The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
