HBO - the producer of "Game Of Thrones" - has revealed a new series about the legendary world (GOT), called "House of the Dragon".

And "HBO" announced the start of preliminary preparations for filming the first season of the series scheduled for release in 2022 on the "HBO" station and the "HBO Max" platform.

The series "Dragon House" is based on the events of the book "Blood and Fire" by the American writer George R. Martin, author of the epic series "The Song of Snow and Fire" on which the series "Game of Thrones" is based.

And co-writing the series - next to Martin - Ryan Condal and Miguel Sabogenic, director of "Game of Thrones".

Its events revolve around 300 years prior to the events of the series "Game of Thrones", and it will tell the story of "House Targaryen" the ruling family of dragons.

In addition to his participation in writing, Emmy Award winner Sabogenic will direct the first episode of the series "Dragon House" and some additional episodes, while his colleague Greg Yaitanes, winner of the same award - in addition to Claire Kilner and Gita Patel - will direct the remaining episodes of the season. And via Twitter, the official account of the "Dragon House" series published pictures from the backgammon session to prepare and read the script, and the series crew appears inside a huge hall abiding by the social distancing measures imposed by the Corona pandemic.
