"An exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues of interaction between Moscow and Tehran at the UN and other international platforms on global and regional problems, including in the context of resolving conflicts in the Middle East," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko met with the Iranian Ambassador.
Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, also noted that the members of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) commission were united by a common goal to speed up the process of the full restoration of the Iranian nuclear deal.
