Halle (dpa / sa) - The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency informed today about the development on the labor market in April in Saxony-Anhalt.

Experts believe that unemployment has fallen.

One reason is the “spring revival”, which makes it possible to work outdoors again.

However, the effect on the labor market is likely to be less than in the years before the pandemic.

In Saxony-Anhalt around 89,200 people were recently registered as unemployed.

The unemployment rate in February was 8 percent, in Germany 6.2 percent.

The deadline for collecting the new data was April 13th.
