Würzburg (dpa / lby) - The Würzburger Kickers make a change in the management floor.
From July 1st, Christian Jäger will take over the duties of CEO from Daniel Sauer.
The 53-year-old graduate economist has been with the sports rights marketer Sportfive since 2004.
Sauer, who joined the club in December 2015, will be leaving Kickers on June 30th.
According to the announcement on Wednesday, he had expressed the wish to the chairman of the supervisory board Thorsten Fischer to want to change his career in the summer.
The Würzburger Kickers are facing relegation in the 2nd Bundesliga.
Three game days before the end of the season, the bottom of the table is nine points behind the relegation place.
In addition, the Lower Franconia have the worse goal difference.
