The art project in Nyköping is carried out during the spring within the framework of the Creative School concept, and is funded by the Swedish Arts Council.
200 five-year-olds from eleven of Nyköping Municipality's preschools participate under the direction of the artist Bereket Negasi.
At the beginning of June, the idea is that the finished plants will be installed, as part of a planting in the guest harbor in Nyköping.
- The goal is to have it ready then, but it depends on the park managers having time to help us.
Actually, we had intended to have a real inauguration with ribbon cutting and many visitors, but the pandemic puts a stop to it, says Therese Forss, quality developer at the preschool in Nyköping.
