Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The cabinet wants to adopt the planned relief for people fully vaccinated against Corona in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on Thursday and change the state ordinance accordingly.

In future, you will no longer have to submit a negative test if you want to go to the hairdresser or the zoo, for example.

Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig (SPD) announced at the beginning of the week that from May 1, those who were fully vaccinated will be treated equally with those who tested negative, as they do not pose a risk of infection.

Currently, a good 6.6 percent of the population in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania have received two syringes against Covid-19 and thus have complete vaccination protection.

That's about 106,000 people.
