Magdeburg (dpa) - The Magdeburg boxing stable SES Boxing is organizing a boxing gala again on June 5.
At the open-air event on the floating stage in Magdeburg's Elbauenpark, heavyweight Agit Kabayel will contest the main fight, as the MDR reported on Wednesday.
It is still open who the 28-year-old will meet.
Unbeaten in 20 professional fights, Kabayel is still hoping for a World Cup duel with WBC champion Tyson Fury.
Among other things, because of the corona-related break in the fight, the fight had not yet taken place.
In addition, cruiserweight Roman Fress, whose opponent has also not yet been determined, is to defend his German championship title.
It is currently unclear whether the fights can take place in front of spectators.
According to the MDR, SES promoter Ulf Steinforth has announced that he wants to develop a corresponding hygiene concept.
