The UAE ambassador to the United Republic of the Comoros Saeed Al-Muqbali said: “Relations between the UAE and the United Republic of the Comoros are witnessing steady growth in many areas, within the framework of the two countries’ leaders ’keenness to develop and strengthen them in a way that serves common interests.”

He added: “During the past year, the UAE flew a number of aircraft carrying urgent medical aid to the United Republic of the Comoros to support government efforts to control the repercussions imposed by the (Covid-19) pandemic, including many screening devices and respirators, which had a role.
