The UK plans to create a group with the FRG to investigate the crimes of the Nazis

This was announced by the head of the department of educational and educational work of the SK Sergei Petrov.

"On the basis of Regulation 2 of the additional protocol to the European Convention on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters of November 8, 2001, the issue of creating an international investigation group and including representatives of the FRG competent authorities is being considered," he said at the Public Chamber during a round table on the topic of the project "No statute of limitations".

Petrov noted that the Investigative Committee in 2019-2020 sent six requests abroad for legal assistance to investigate criminal cases of Nazi crimes.

In this regard, the UK continues to cooperate with colleagues from Canada, Estonia and Germany, writes RIA Novosti.

Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee of Russia decided to combine criminal cases on the atrocities of the Nazis against the civilian population into one - on the genocide of the peoples of the USSR.
