Munich (dpa / lby) - There are two decisions with a potentially great signal effect: The district court Munich I announced today, Wednesday (11.00 a.m.) whether a kart track as well as a musician and producer are entitled to state compensation for the consequences of the measures against the corona pandemic .

The claims are rather manageable at around 11,000 and 6,000 euros respectively, but if successful, the Free State could face a wave of lawsuits.

More than a dozen other lawsuits are already pending at the Munich Regional Court alone.

In both cases, it is about company closings in the first Corona wave in spring 2020. According to the regional court, the plaintiffs are demanding compensation for loss of income that was not compensated by the Corona emergency aid.

There have already been similar lawsuits in other federal states.

In Hamburg, Brandenburg, Berlin, Lower Saxony and Baden-Württemberg, among others, courts decided against the plaintiffs there.
