Berlin (dpa / bb) - A person was injured in an apartment fire in the Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg.

She came to a clinic.

According to the fire department, there was a fire on Wednesday night in an apartment on the second floor of a six-story building.

Two people had to be brought to safety by the fire brigade with fire escape hoods, the helpers said on Twitter.

Accordingly, a total of 26 people were sighted and looked after by the rescue service.

The fire in Norwegerstrasse was quickly extinguished by around 110 emergency services.

However, one room in the apartment burned down completely.

The cause of the fire was still unclear in the morning.
