The Microsoft Teams online platform was disrupted, as the service was interrupted all over the world, preventing users from chatting, holding meetings, and sharing notes and attachments.

Microsoft designed the platform to work seamlessly with other Office 365 tools, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to facilitate collaboration between team members when working remotely. As much as possible.

Thousands of users found themselves unable to respond to work messages, join video calls, or collaborate with colleagues from home.

The problems began to appear at 2 pm Mecca time (11 am GMT), according to Downdetector.

The problems blocked communication for many Microsoft Teams users across Europe and Asia.

Microsoft indicated that it is aware of the problems and is currently investigating the cause.

The Microsoft account said on the Twitter platform: We have confirmed that this problem affects users worldwide, and we will continue monitoring the service to find out the reason for the recent changes in order to isolate the source of the problem.

We're investigating an issue with Microsoft Teams impacting Europe and Asia.

And some platform users reported that an error (401) appeared when trying to access the service via the web, while others saw the channels, but they were unable to send messages.

Many people who struggled to use the platform saw an error message stating that the operation failed due to an unexpected error.

Others may still log into the service, but Microsoft warns that they may experience poor performance in many features in using the platform, and that any user may be affected by this issue.

This marks the second outage for Microsoft Teams this month, after service problems occurred at the beginning of April.

Microsoft has also had problems with Microsoft Teams for more than 4 hours over the past month after a change of authentication disrupted access to the Communications app.
