The fallen of dry vegetation caused a fire with an area of 15 hectares at the city dump of Birobidzhan, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Jewish Autonomous Region.
"The fire started at 17:20 (10:20 Moscow time) on April 25 as a result of dry vegetation fell," the message says.
Seven people work at the site of the fire, two pieces of equipment are involved.
According to the department, there is no threat of the spread of the flame on the housing stock and economic facilities.
