The sources consulted agree that the conclave held this Tuesday should not resolve the negotiation, as it is intended to address the composition of the future Government, leaving the thorniest issue for future meetings: the role of Puigdemont and the leadership of the separatist cause from its Council for the Republic.
Although Sànchez plans to use his penitentiary permits to alternate meetings in Lledoners with others held in the Parliament, the prison seems the decisive stage of the negotiation to form a Government, as has happened on previous occasions. Torra was elected vicar of Puigdemont after summits held in Soto del Real, where at that time the leaders of the
procés
were imprisoned
awaiting trial. The same happened with the negotiation to invest Pedro Sánchez and with that of the General State Budgets, with prominent mention for

to Junqueras in the same prison in Lledoners in which the independence movement now measures its ability to achieve a agreement that allows ERC and JxCat to cohabit again in the Generalitat.
Republicans have been fantasizing about the possibility of governing alone for days if the
neo-convergents
do not agree to accept their conditions and continue to be inflexible about the role of Puigdemont. Aragonès has come to demand an agreement before May 1 not to activate the government's path alone. But this ultimatum from ERC is also not very credible, fundamentally because it would be JxCat who should agree to invest Aragonès and then move on to the opposition. It is true that Sànchez flirted with that possibility weeks ago, but both the general secretary of JxCat and the bulk of his party prefer to re-found the agreement with ERC to preserve their share of power and a key economic capacity so that the beardless project of Puigdemont results viable.
