130 patients with covid-19 are now being cared for at Östergötland Hospital.

This is the highest level the number of patients has been in the region during the third wave.

- We know that we have a high spread of infection right now in Region Östergötland and it is worrying, says Jessica Frisk, care director in Region Östergötland.

High spread of infection in several areas

The region has previously announced that Norrköping has the highest spread of infection by the municipalities in the county, and according to Jessica Frisk, this is still the case today.

However, she points out that there is an increase also in the western parts of the county.
