Leinefelde (dpa / th) - After a fire in an apartment building in Leinefelde, the police are investigating arson.
In the cellar of the house on Handelstrasse, previously unknown persons set fire to scraps of paper and kitchen rolls on Tuesday night, the police said on Tuesday morning.
The residents of the house were able to extinguish the fire and were uninjured, so the fire brigade that had been alerted only had to take over the follow-up care of the fire.
