In December, a unique find was made near Ådalen outside Enköping - a 14 kilo iron meteorite, which SVT Uppsala wrote about earlier.

The meteorite is now on view at the Swedish Museum of Natural History and was found by two private individuals.

Now Johan Benzelstierna von Engeström, who owns the land where the space stone was found, will place a memorial there.

- It's almost as if you think it has a purpose because I have such a great interest in space.

But I also think that the purpose is that this meteorite will make the interest will be shared by several.

Christer Fuglesang said yes: "Fun thing"

One person that Johan Benzelstierna von Engeström wants to include at the inauguration is Christer Fuglesang, who in 2009 became the first Swede in space.

On Tuesday, he emailed him and got a yes from Fuglesang 20 minutes later.

- I think it was a fun thing that a fairly large meteorite was found in Sweden.

When I was asked so I would gladly stand up for it, says Christer Fuglesang to SVT Uppsala.
