"We all make mistakes"
The players and coaches did not hold it against the referee for his blunder.
"The referee whistled the end of the match because he thought the time was up, and then he came to tell us that he had made a mistake," Sevillian striker Lucas Ocampos said after the meeting.
"It was over, we had already taken off our outfits, I've never seen anything like it."
“It was a strange, very confusing situation.
But it happens, we all make mistakes, ”Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui said, without throwing stones at the referee.
"They make mistakes like we all do, and he did his best to correct it," Granada coach Diego Martinez added.
