The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received, during his meeting with the Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in Doha, a written message from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, including an invitation to the Emir of the State of Qatar to visit the Kingdom.
The Qatari Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, discussed with his Saudi counterpart the relations of cooperation and strengthening the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council, in addition to the latest developments in the region.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman expressed his country's full support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to combat drug trafficking in all its forms, and called for intensifying efforts and strengthening cooperation between countries in the region to combat drug smuggling.
The Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm support for the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and for everything that would enhance its security and stability.
