A 25-year-old young man was placed in a coma and hospitalized at Nantes University Hospital on Sunday after falling from a balcony, police reports.
The accident occurred shortly before 5 a.m., in a pavilion on Boulevard des Poilus in Nantes.
The victim, hit in the head, participated in an "alcoholic evening" in the presence of about fifteen guests.
Backing onto the balcony railing
According to the first elements of the investigation, the young man was on the balcony of the first floor of the house with his girlfriend and had leaned against the railing.
Several witnesses would have seen him tip over and fall on slabs, located about three meters below.
"The identities of the guests have been noted," said the police.
She specifies that the organizer of the party, a young woman of 20, will be "summoned later".
