A man in his twenties disguised as a clown was arrested this Friday after attempting to sexually assault a young girl in the Arcachon Basin, according to information communicated by the Bordeaux prosecutor's office at
20 Minutes.
He was remanded in custody and will be tried on May 7.
He would have tried Thursday to abuse an 18-year-old girl by threatening her with a knife, according to
Sud Ouest.
She had managed to struggle and escape, giving the police the description of her attacker, whose make-up had already been noticed near the college of Teste-de-Buch.
He was arrested at his home.
