Arrest warrant for attempted manslaughter against 22-year-olds

Coswig (dpa / sa) - In Coswig (Wittenberg district), a 22-year-old is said to have injured a 25-year-old with a knife-like object on the chest.

Both were in the younger man's apartment on Sunday afternoon when there was a physical confrontation and the attack, said the police and public prosecutor in Dessau-Roßlau.

According to the information, the attacked person had to receive intensive medical care.

The 22-year-old was issued an arrest warrant for attempted manslaughter on Monday.

The investigation into the motive of the crime is ongoing.
