FIFA has announced the direct matches that qualify for the Arab Cup Qatar 2021, a day before the cultural district of Katara in the Qatari capital, Doha, hosted the tournament draw.

23 teams from the Arab region participate in the tournament, and the 14 lowest-ranked teams, according to the latest FIFA rankings issued by FIFA in April, are in direct confrontations from a single match to reserve 7 cards eligible for the tournament finals scheduled for the end of this year.

  • Jordan (95) vs South Sudan (169)

  • Bahrain (99) faces Kuwait (148)

  • Mauritania (101) vs Yemen (145)

  • Palestine (104) Facing Comoros (131)

  • Libya (119) faces Sudan (123).

The seven qualified teams from this stage join the 9 teams that qualified directly to the finals of the tournament after they topped the list of Arab teams in the FIFA classification, which are Qatar (58) the host country, Tunisia (26), Algeria (33), Morocco (34), Egypt (46) and Saudi Arabia ( 65), Iraq (68), the UAE (73) and Syria (79).

The 16 teams will be distributed into 4 groups, each of which includes 4 teams, and the first two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

The tournament will host 6 "Qatar 2022" World Cup stadiums.

The Arab Cup 2021 will be an opportunity for the organizers of the 2022 World Cup to assess the readiness of the operational processes and facilities for the World Cup, as Qatar will host the two tournaments in the months of November and December, and the final match of the Arab Cup will be held on December 18.
