She explained that “this task was extremely difficult, with the onset of the pandemic and the interruption of global business, and securing medical equipment was a great challenge, and during that period we were circling the country to ensure the progress of work in projects in full swing, and that period coincided with the advent of Ramadan, During the period of fasting, I carried out my duties under the sun, and this was the first time that I spent the month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr away from my family, and it was very difficult for me, but the work team was an alternative family to my side. ”

Al-Hadrami said: “The visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the site of the project, to inspect the progress of work in it, is still present in my memory, as His Highness was aware of the pressures we were facing, so he told us then ( Do not paralyze them), raising our spirits, and we felt that there is no place for the impossible, and His Highness reminded us that everyone in the Emirates appreciates our efforts. So we worked to translate his words into reality, maintaining our interest, and assuring the whole world that we are capable of facing the pandemic. ”

And she continued: “When I first heard about the (Covid-19) virus, it never occurred to me that it would arrive in the UAE, and I was planning to spend my vacation at that time, but I had to cancel it.

We organized meetings with all administrative cadres to develop ideas and draw plans to establish a network of national survey centers for the virus (Covid-19), and at the beginning it was difficult to even imagine the design of these centers and the systems of work in them, but we continued to work and cooperate in order to develop a clear and strategic plan that can be implemented. ».

Al-Hadrami assumed responsibility for implementing the projects within the specified deadline and according to the established specifications.

To fulfill this mission, she is required to travel thousands of kilometers to various parts of the country, and to work alongside service providers and contractors until late at night.

Given the importance of the role that Mona was playing, and her presence with this number of people, she had to completely isolate herself from her family.

Al-Hadhrami added, “My mother suffers from a chronic disease, and one of my sisters also faces problems with the immune system, and for this my presence next to them was a great risk, because of the possibility of them contracting the virus.

I spoke with my family members regularly, and their words expressing their pride in me were a source of great happiness for me. ”

And she continued: “We were able to carry out all tasks within a record period, and given what we have achieved during the past year, I am really proud of what I have achieved, and I am proud of the confidence that the leadership and management have placed in my capabilities, and their belief in my ability to carry out these tasks, and I am also proud of my service to my country and society.

I have had a golden opportunity to harness my positive energies to help fight this virus. ”

Mona gives advice to Emirati girls and women who have been inspired by her endeavors and accomplishments: “You have to trust in yourself and your abilities, and believe that you are not alone.

Our country provides all the means of support and assistance that we need, and we only have to trust our capabilities. ”

Al-Hadrami explained: “I never imagined that I would be among those who made sacrifices for the sake of the homeland, and that I would be counted among the heroes in it. This was an experience of a lifetime.
