Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority launched the digital services platform, as part of the second phase of its strategy, which aims to enable customers to complete their transactions within a record time by switching to electronic service centers, to ensure business continuity and easy access to the service through the website and smart devices around the clock. .

The Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, Engineer Ismail Hassan Al Balushi, said, “The digital platform includes four main services related to the licensing of transport activities in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which are: (vehicle licensing, driver licensing, company licensing, and payment of fines). It also contains 37 subsidiary services, as the services enable customers to perform all issuance and renewal of transport licenses in the emirate through the platform electronically by means of payment by e-dirham, credit cards and bank transfer.

He explained that the second phase of digital services comes as part of the authority’s efforts to implement its digital strategy and implement innovative services that meet the needs of customers, and enhance the authority’s position and competitiveness in the transportation sector at the local and global levels, by providing distinct services that shorten the procedures for completing transactions and reduce the time taken to complete them. It also strengthens the partnership with the public and private sectors by linking the platform with the Emirati identity to ensure the highest levels of information security and preserving the privacy of users, in addition to the possibility of linking it with other government services in the next phase.The Director of the Customer Happiness Center, Fatima Hassan Al Shehhi, indicated that the services platform provides many advantages that enable customers to submit and complete transactions and services directly through the authority’s website, with the ability to track the status of the transaction and its developments through the reference number that is sent to the applicant via messages. The text and e-mail registered in the database, in addition to the platform’s contribution to enhancing the Authority’s efforts in implementing precautionary measures to prevent “Covid-19”, in order to preserve the safety of dealers.
