April 26, 2021 "I return to Italy happy to have lived an unrepeatable experience born for an important message that I completely share and for the great passion that after twenty-eight years I still have for music which is not only my job, but my life ".

This is the comment that Laura Pausini entrusts to Instagram, describing her emotions at the end of the night of the Oscars.

"I am going back to Italy happy to embrace my little girl who is waiting for me and with whom we will celebrate to meet again after the first week of our life away. But I will tell her the dream of an incredible night!", Writes the artist from Romagna.

"Having been part of such a special project as' The Life Ahead 'with Edoardo Ponti and Sophia Loren was for me one of the greatest gifts that life could give me - writes Pausini - Having sung' I yes' on the stage of ' Academy is a dream that I could never have hoped to come true even more in such a historic edition ". Laura then reserves part of the message for thanks to those who took her to the most important stage of world cinema, the first artist in our country to be nominated for a statuette for a piece in Italian.

"Thanks The Academy! Thanks to Diane Warren, for our song and for all the achievements, first of all the Golden Globe, it was an incredible experience working together! Thanks to Bonnie Greenberg and Niccolò Agliardi! Thanks Palomar, thanks Netflix, I've always felt at home with you ", adds Pausini. The artist then posts, along with the comment, two emblematic photos of her experience at the Oscars: one portrays her smiling in the gala dress, the other with a hamburger. "Browse the gallery and find out how my nomination evenings usually end!", Writes the artist ironically.
