Hanover (dpa / lni) - Around 100 demonstrators protested in Hanover against the exit restrictions to combat the corona pandemic.

A police spokesman said the demonstration had been duly registered and the participants marched peacefully through the city with posters from 9:30 p.m. on Saturday evening.

The exit restrictions between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. apply if the so-called seven-day incidence (infection within seven days per 100,000 inhabitants) in a city or a district is over 100 on three consecutive days.

This is currently the case in Bremen and Bremerhaven as well as in the Hanover region and a good dozen other districts in Lower Saxony.
