The nightmare continues for Bordeaux: released Thursday by their American shareholder King Street, the Bordelais suffered their 5th defeat in a row on Sunday, beaten 4-1 in Lorient during the 34th day of Ligue 1.

Thanks to a raging attack and a hat-trick from Nigerian Terem Moffi, the Lorienters have for their part taken an important step towards maintenance.

For Bordeaux, the sporting crisis is added to the administrative and financial crisis which plunges the club into great uncertainty.

With this 11th defeat in 13 matches, the Girondins remain 16th but have only 4 points ahead of Nantes and Nîmes (18th and 19th).

Apathetic, without ideas, the men of Jean-Louis Gasset took the water from the entrance.

Seized by the throat by the Merlus, the Bordelais quickly conceded opportunities, without being able to carry the danger in the Breton camp.

A first coiled free kick from Enzo Le Fée grazed the skylight of Benoît Costil (14th), before the Bordeaux goalkeeper diverts the shot from Laurent Abergel (17th) for a corner.

Then in the space of two minutes, the Girondins were punished: Yoann Wissa first headed a corner from Le Fée (1-0, 18th) before serving Terem Moffi perfectly to drive the point home (2 -0, 20th), after a well-conducted cons.

In front of the stands still empty but adorned this Sunday with 2,200 jerseys loaned by amateur clubs in the region, the Nigerian striker of the FCL had free balls of 3-0 (a failed recovery at close range, a head diverted by Costil. ..).

He finally increased the score just before the break, while the Girondins tried to react, dribbling Costil and scoring in the empty goal after a long opening from Trevoh Chalobah, in the middle of a Girondine defense at bay (3-0, 43rd ).

The Bordelais raised their heads after returning from the locker room, monopolizing the ball, but without deceiving goalkeeper Paul Nardi, despite the opportunities of Mara (63rd, 72nd), Kalu (72nd) and Basic (66th).

At the end of the match, the Gasset team was sanctioned on a new jewel of Moffi, its 14th goal of the season (4-0, 80th), before softening the score by Issouf Sissokho (4-1, 84th), which had just come into play.

"We are really really disappointed," commented Bordeaux defender Paul Baysse at the microphone of Canal +.

"It makes us a cartridge less. There are four left, we will continue and we will not let go now. We still have our destiny in hand," he assured.
