“I have signed a new order banning those who have been in India in the past 14 days from entering Italy,” Speranza wrote on his Facebook account.

He added that Italian citizens will be able to return to the country by making an exit and entry test with a quarantine obligation.

“Everyone who has been in India in the last 14 days and is already in our country should be tested for coronavirus,” the minister said.

He stressed that Italian scientists are working to study a new Indian version.
