The Parisian handball players lost 25 to 24 against Nantes, late Sunday afternoon in their room in Coubertin at the end of the 24th day of the French championship, conceding their first setback of the season.

Paris SG had not lost in the Starligue since a trip to Saint-Raphaël on May 12, 2019 (33-31), and the last defeat to Coubertin in the French championship dates back to June 8, 2017, already against Nantes (38 -37).

Despite this setback, the Parisians remain at the top of the championship with 44 points, but see the Montpellier regain a little hope with six points behind (38) and nine matches still to be played for the Héraultais, against eight for the six-fold champions of France in title.

Nantes, deprived of their captain Rock Feliho, return to five points from Montpellier and strengthen their third place in the standings (33 points).
