Bayerisch Gmain (dpa / lby) - A cyclist was seriously injured in an accident in Berchtesgadener Land.
The man was hit by a car in Bayerisch Gmain (Berchtesgadener Land district) on Saturday, as the Bavarian Red Cross announced on Sunday.
Accordingly, the man suffered such serious injuries in the accident that the Red Cross had to fly him to the hospital in Salzburg in a helicopter.
The Red Cross said that several first aiders had looked after the seriously injured in an exemplary manner before the rescue workers arrived.
