Rostock (dpa / mv) - According to the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Camping Association, the restrictions that recently came into force for long-term campers are largely implemented without any problems.

"I am not aware of any information that it does not work somewhere," said association spokesman Gerd Scharmberg on Sunday.

The police headquarters were also not aware of any such problems.

"Nothing was noticed negatively here," it was said in the afternoon from Rostock, for example.

According to the Corona regulation, permanent campers from other federal states had to leave the country up to and including Friday. In some regions, long-term campers had to leave their places beforehand due to high corona incidences, for example in the districts of Mecklenburg Lake District and Western Pomerania-Greifswald. According to the state camping association, anyone who lives in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is only allowed to go to the campsite during the day; it is forbidden to stay overnight.

"You can see that people are sticking to it," said Scharmberg.

Oliver Behrens from the Graal-Müritz campsite made a similar statement.

The rules would be accepted if there was also displeasure.

Scharmberg nevertheless called it a paradox that the local permanent campers were allowed to be there during the day but not at night.

Ultimately, this is how the ordinance is, and it is also directed at the companies.

Accordingly, they would have closed their sanitary facilities in the evening.

After all, there is a wish “that the lockdown can also come to an end”.
