Theeßen (dpa) - A 30-year-old driver was seriously injured in an accident due to a blown tire on the A2.
On Sunday morning, the Berliner near Theeßen was driving in the left lane when the left rear tire burst for an unexplained cause, the police said.
The driver lost control of the car.
This hurled over the motorway and against crash barriers.
Finally he stopped in the left lane.
Several airbags deploy.
The 30-year-old was taken to a hospital.
Traffic at the accident site was disrupted for around an hour.
