“I am grateful to the specialists of the YouTube platform, who drew attention to our appeal and the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine regarding TV channels that posed a threat to the national security of Ukraine,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Tkachenko explained that at present, when viewing these YouTube channels on the territory of Ukraine, it is indicated that "the content is not available due to the government's complaint about its illegality."
In March, the Administrative Court of Cassation of the Supreme Court of Ukraine refused to invalidate the decree of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on sanctions against the TV channels 112 Ukraine, ZIK and NEWSONE.
In early February, Zelenskiy put into effect the NSDC's decision to impose sanctions on three TV channels - 112 Ukraine, ZIK and NEWSONE.
