The Syrian Ministry of Oil said that a fire broke out today, Saturday, in one of the tanks of an oil tanker off the coast of Baniyas, western Syria, after it was exposed to what it believed was a drone attack.
The ministry added that the aircraft is expected to carry out the attack, coming from the direction of Lebanese territorial waters.
The Ministry confirmed that the firefighting teams were able to control and extinguish the fire.
