April 24, 2021 Eleven Serie A clubs (Rome, Turin, Bologna, Genoa, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Spezia, Benevento, Crotone, Parma and Cagliari) have written a letter to ask the president of the Serie A Football League, Paolo Dal Pino, the urgent convocation of an assembly "to analyze the serious acts put in place by the associated clubs Juventus Fc, Ac Milan, Fc Internazionale and their administrators, and the relative consequences", for the Super League project.

The three clubs, according to the other clubs, "have developed and signed the project by acting in secret", with "evident and serious damage" for all Italian football, the letter reads. "To date, moreover, the same have not yet formally communicated the withdrawal from the same project, with the evidence of a possible and unacceptable restart of its creation", conclude the 11 clubs.
