“In general, the statement itself is ridiculous.

How then is the meeting that Zelensky wanted to hold in Donbass with the "aggressor country" different?

That is, in Donbass this is a country for negotiations, and in Moscow it will be an "aggressor country", - said Dzhabarov.

According to the senator, the point is that Zelensky "will have nothing to say at this meeting with Putin."

“Because he did not fulfill any of his election promises,” he explained.

At the same time, according to Dzhabarov, the discussion at this meeting could only be about Russian-Ukrainian relations without mentioning the topic of Donbass, since the situation there is "a conflict that is developing within Ukraine."

"I think these excuses of the Deputy Prime Minister, invented, look absolutely ridiculous and unconvincing," the interlocutor of RT concluded.

Earlier, Reznikov on the YouTube channel "Freedom of Speech Savik Shuster" explained why Zelensky cannot accept the offer of Russian President Vladimir Putin and come to Moscow for negotiations.

He noted that the Ukrainian president cannot "go to the capital during the war and meet with a person who is a representative of the aggressor country."

On April 22, Putin said that if Zelenskiy wants to start restoring relations, then Russia will only welcome it.

He added that he is ready to receive the President of Ukraine in Moscow at any time convenient for him.
