Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - In Baden-Württemberg, 2968 new corona infections were reported on Saturday.
This emerges from the daily report of the state health office.
The number of confirmed infections since the beginning of the pandemic has thus risen to 427,910. The so-called seven-day incidence, i.e. the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week, rose slightly to 190.5.
The value was 20 points higher than last Saturday with 170.5.
Only two districts are below the threshold of 100. 29 rural and urban districts were higher than 165.
According to the report, 9211 (plus 10) people have since died of an infection with or related to the coronavirus.
An estimated 372,319 infected people are considered recovered (plus 2,825).
According to the data, 575 Covid 19 cases are currently being treated in intensive care units, 348 of which are invasively ventilated.
According to the announcement, only 10.9 percent of the 2,441 operable intensive care beds are currently free.
This value is important to be able to assess the utilization of the health system.
Such beds are not only needed for Covid 19 patients with severe courses, but also for other serious illnesses.
