Berlin / Hamburg (dpa / lno) - The President of the German Stage Association, Hamburg's Senator for Culture Carsten Brosda (SPD), has criticized the Internet campaign #allesdichtmachen by some well-known actors.
The action shows "how increasingly fragile the situation in our society is," said the SPD politician of the dpa in Berlin.
«It also shows that we have to take care and express and discuss the contradictions of our time.
But please be constructive and not just sarcastic, ”objected Brosda.
"What feels wrong at the moment is ultimately correct and necessary despite all the criticism in detail," said the stage association president with a view to the corona measures.
"It is important that we endure these contradictions."
Brosda pointed out that “the culture has just been hit disproportionately.
Irony and sarcasm, however, resolve these current contradictions in the wrong direction and threaten to come across as cynical.
With all the frustration, cynicism cannot be the right attitude. "
Brosda promoted “dialectical confidence”: “Act now clearly and really consistently against the spread of the virus, so that a clear perspective emerges for the restart of culture.
