Berlin (dpa / bb) - The water polo players from Spandau 04 have won the Bundesliga catch-up game against OSC Potsdam 16: 4 (3: 2, 4: 1, 3: 1, 6: 0) and are in the group of four B with 8: 0 points the entry into the semi-finals thus also arithmetically secured.
Potsdam is now through with 7: 5 points.
Spandau struggled to get into the game and to keep the DM third of the previous season at a distance on Friday in the Schöneberg swimming pool after constant stress - on Wednesday they were still active in the Champions League main round in Ostia (Italy).
In the opening quarter, Dmitri Kholod (Spandau) took the 04 lead with three goals.
At the beginning of the second section, Sascha Seifert again ensured the OSC equalization to 3: 3, only then did the favorite break free and move away to 7: 3 until the break.
In the second half, Spandau expanded their lead and controlled the game.

Two hours after the Potsdam match, a second catch-up game from the first four-man tournament in Berlin at the end of March was on the program for the Wasserfreunde against SG Neukölln.
