"Over the past day on April 23 in Russia, 100 forest fires were liquidated on an area of ​​11,719 hectares," RIA Novosti reports.

It is noted that the largest area of ​​fires was recorded in the Tyumen region, where there were seven forest fires on an area of ​​20,188 hectares.

Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, named the regions with a high risk of wildfires.
