On Thursday, two school classes from two different schools in Ödeshög municipality went on a study trip to another region.
A journey of 2 hours one way by bus.
The children were offered mouth protection and hand alcohol in the bus and that they would be allowed to sit in a row in between,
The 10-year-olds from the rural school in Rök went together with children they otherwise would not meet - 10-year-olds Fridtjuv Bergskolan in Ödeshög - a school that has recently been affected by covid-19.
The parents did not receive any information that the bus trip would take place together.
- Despite the sharp infection situation in Ödeshög municipality, they choose to pair these children in the same bus based on "economic markers", say Jenny Aakula and Sissela Wasén, parents of students at the school in Rök.
