Munich (AP) - Germany's best tennis player Alexander Zverev goes to the ATP tournament in Munich with elbow problems.

Actually, it was "okay," said the 24-year-old on Friday.

"I still have to be careful, but it is on the right track."

According to his own description, Zverev underwent autologous blood treatment on his elbow a week ago.

"It gets better every day."

At the top seeded Zverev in Munich, however, all overhead hits would not work smoothly.

Zverev is looking forward to the sand court event from this Saturday until May 2nd.

In 2017 and 2018 he won on the MTTC Iphitos facility.

The number six in the world rankings said he had “unbelievable memories” of the BMW Open.

He regrets that no fans are allowed in Corona times.

«Health comes first this year.

I hope that we can play here normally again next year at the latest, ”said Zverev.
